SCOSS Campaign - 60% of financial sustainability target

Thanks to new pledges of support from Canada, France and the Netherlands we surpassed the halfway point of our SCOSS campaign, currently at 60% of our financial target. In these challenging times, we are grateful for the worldwide support for DOAB and OAPEN and commitment to OA books. Have a look at the complete and updated supporter page on both the OAPEN and DOAB.

We welcome and encourage additional libraries and funders to consider becoming a SCOSS supporter and help us in achieving our financial sustainability target. Contact Tom Mosterd, Community Manager, for more information about our SCOSS campaign: [email protected]

SCOSS, DOAB & OAPEN

OAPEN and the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) are deemed as essential Open Science infrastructures and are included in SCOSS’s second funding cycle. SCOSS encourages libraries to pledge support to both DOAB and OAPEN as the two are closely interlinked and actively support the transition to open access for books. The SCOSS program aims to provide a strong financial base for DOAB and OAPEN to sustain their Open Science services.
